“Safe Strangers in My Community”

Today our junior students at the Wangaratta campus were incredibly lucky to welcome a team of doctors and nurses as part of their “Safe Strangers in My Community” unit.
Today our junior students at the Wangaratta campus were incredibly lucky to welcome a team of doctors and nurses as part of their “Safe Strangers in My Community” unit.

Students learnt all about hospitals, medicine, and the important role healthcare workers play in supporting our community. A highlight of the visit was watching plaster casts being applied to some very excited students (and staff!)

A huge thank you to Dr Shannon, Dr Shaq, Dr Sam and Nurse Practitioner Lydia for taking the time out of your busy schedules to share your knowledge and experiences with our students. We truly appreciate the work you do
